Day 1 London: Muscat
After a daytime flight you'll be greeted at Muscat airport for a transfer to your hotel, where you stay for the next three nights.
Day 2: Muscat
A full day city tour, which will include the Bait Al Zubair Museum, the Grand Mosque and Old Muscat.
Day 3: Muscat
Day at leisure.
Day 4: Muscat - Nizwa
Leaving the coast behind, you travel inland through dramatic mountain scenery to Nizwa, where you'll stay for three nights.
Day 5: Nizwa
Today you will visit the traditional mountain villages of Al Hamra and Misfah, venturing along the impressive Wadi Ghul and Wadi Nakheer.
Day 6: Nizwa
Another fascinating excursion, including the imposing Jabreen fort, renowned for its painted ceilings. You'll also visit Bahla Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and discover the isolated Beehive tombs in Bat.
Day 7: Nizwa - Muscat
The direct route back to Muscat will be taken today, for a one night stay before moving on north.
Day 8: Muscat - Musandam
After breakfast you'll be transferred to the airport for a short flight to Musandam, on the Northern Peninsula. Here you'll have four nights to fully appreciate this unique area.
Day 9: Musandam
In the morning you can discover the dramatic mountainous scenery of the Peninsula, before enjoying an afternoon at leisure.
Day 10: Musandam
You may like to arrange a boat excursion with your hotel, or take advantage of the top class diving and snorkelling available.
Day 11: Musandam
Day at leisure.
Day 12: Musandam - Dubai
Transfer overland from Musandam to Dubai for your overnight flight to the UK.
